STEEL-IT Brand Coatings achieve their superior level of performance by combining an abundance of custom-engineered 316L stainless steel micro-flakes with various resins, including polyurethane and epoxy. When sprayed, brushed, or rolled on, these flakes align horizontally to form a densely packed barrier of pure stainless steel. This stainless steel shield makes materials coated with STEEL-IT nearly impervious to corrosion and corrosive elements while providing a durable finish that resists scratching and flaking even under the most challenging conditions. If using STEEL-IT Polyurethane, touchup is quick and easy using a handy aerosol can. If an even more durable finish is desired, STEEL-IT’s 2-component Epoxy products provide extraordinary corrosion- and abrasion-resistance.
